The legacy of enabling change started for Elizabeth at the age of 22. Working with Universal Studios to create an exciting national promotion for ET: the Extraterrestrial, she received Steven Spielberg's blessing to create an experimental marketing event. Thanks to Elizabeth, children mimicked Elliott and ET's ride in stores and theaters. Just two years later, she opened the first off-price, upscale children's clothing store in Northern California and also developed a modeling and self-confidence transformation program for adolescent girls. When she decided to be actively involved in the education of her oldest child, Elizabeth became a catalyst for the transformation of the fastest growing education movement in the U.S. - homeschooling. Kanna co-founded and later sold the largest homeschooling site on the internet (A Forbes Best of the Web) and co-authored the definitive guide on homeschooling, Homeschooling for Success. Kanna helped build homeschool divisions for some of the largest education companies in the U.S. and advised hundreds of thousands of families on homeschooling as a powerful education option for helping children reach their full potential.

Elizabeth is a homeschooling parent of three daughters, Randall 18, Madison 15, and McKenzie 12. Kanna and her three daughters work on community projects which are transformative and continue Elizabeth's life-long passion of helping others discover their unique talents and potentials.

"I believe the future of humanity rests in our ability to honor each individual's talents and gifts they were born with to share and contribute to the world. Help them live their dream." - Elizabeth Kanna
